Andre´s widely known after his nickname "Granadeiro" deriving from his middle name.

Prior to embracing his cycling career, Andre was a professional sailor (laser standard) aiming the olympic gold.

In his mission to spread a word of hard work and hope to the younger generation, Andre looks after his idols Lance Armstrong and Usain Bolt.

Andre cultivates an image of a clean and sustainable world, having adopted a plant based eating style back in 2020.

Back to back with his sports career, Andre is currently on the 2nd year of the Maritime sciences bachelor degree. 

In his free times, Andre enjoys to explore rational fields such as finance, marketing and maths.
